We must look beyond the immediate and the intended consequences of public policies, to consider the precedents, wary of slippery slopes, lest unintended consequences strike and mischievously allow the reactionaries their "sincerely held religious beliefs". This is why we must never ratify this insane "First Amendment" Trojan horse.
