Can someone help me figure out what the thesis of this article is?

Transexuals, meh? Transexual hoboes, NOW you're talking? Don't be so busy being gay you forget to be a Communist? You're all embracing the genderqueers, but look at me, I'M embracing the poor genderqueer Marxists of color, so I win this contest? What is the DEAL with deadlines?
